What is the Bank AL Habib saving account profit rate in 2026?

Every rupee savings account on the rate sheet pays the same rate, so pick by how often you want profit. These rates have applied since 1 August 2026.

Monthly average balance Rate
Up to Rs 10 million 10.00%
Above Rs 10 million 9.50%

The bank calculates profit on your monthly average balance, at a simple annual rate. Its rate sheet says the State Bank’s minimum deposit rate covers only individuals with a monthly average up to Rs 10 million, which is why the rate drops above it. The Young Savers account pays 10.00% on the whole balance up to Rs 500,000.

If you can lock money away, a one-year fixed deposit paid 10.00% (from 11 August 2026) and the one-year Mahana Munafa deposit 10.75%. Longer terms paid less: 9.25% to 9.50% on fixed deposits of two to five years. Banks deduct tax on profit, and Bank AL Habib’s netbanking can email you a tax certificate; see tax on bank profit. To compare banks, see savings account profit rates.
