| Month (2026) | Islami Bachat |
|---|---|
| January | 6.73% |
| April | 6.51% |

For September, the 7.4286% applied up to a Rs 1 crore balance in Islami Bachat, Mashal Saving and Premium Saving. Above that, and for non-individual accounts, the rate was 2.5031%. BankIslami says the individual rate follows the State Bank’s BPRD Circular Letter 15 of 6 July 2026.
That compares with 6.63% at Meezan Bank for September 2026; see Meezan Bank accounts. Conventional banks must pay individuals at least 10.00% up to Rs 1 crore (September 2026), and Islamic vs conventional banking explains why the two differ. Tax is deducted from profit; see tax on bank profit.
For September 2026, the one-year term deposit with monthly profit, the only one in its term-deposit pool open for new bookings, paid 8.5021%. General-pool term deposits paid 5.16% to 5.46% for one year with profit at maturity, depending on the amount, and 8.46% to 9.47% for five years. See fixed deposit rates in Pakistan.
