How does Soneri Bank account opening work online?

Soneri Bank’s Digital Onboarding opens these conventional accounts without a branch visit: Asaan Digital, Asaan Digital Remittance, Freelance Digital, Soneri Current, Ladies First Current, PLS Savings, Ikhtiar and Soneri Saving. Islamic (Mustaqeem) versions can be opened the same way.

  1. Start on Soneri’s onboarding website or the Soneri Digital app. Choose the account type.

An Asaan account at any bank is capped at Rs 3 million credit balance and Rs 1 million of debits a month, and you can hold only one per bank. See Asaan account and open a bank account online.

How do I find my Soneri Bank IBAN?

Pakistani IBANs are 24 characters: PK, two check digits, a four-letter bank code and a 16-digit account number. The bank code is the first four letters of the bank’s SWIFT code; Soneri’s SWIFT code is SONEPKKA, so its IBANs carry SONE. Only Soneri can generate your IBAN, so copy it from your statement or app. See IBAN number in Pakistan.
