Airport lounge access cards in Pakistan: which debit and credit cards get you in
Which lounge access card in Pakistan gets you into CIP lounges and lounges abroad: debit and credit cards from Meezan, HBL, UBL, MCB and Allied Bank, Oct 2026.
Several Pakistani debit cards, not only credit cards, give airport lounge access. Meezan's Visa Platinum debit card (Rs 10,000 a year) gives unlimited CIP lounge visits at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan and Sialkot, usually with a guest. Meezan World and Infinite, HBL World, MCB Signature and Allied Visa Premium debit cards add 1,100 to 1,200+ lounges abroad, some capped at 8 or 12 visits a year. Most Platinum credit cards allow 6 visits abroad a year. Pakistani CIP lounges are mostly for international departures.
You don’t need a credit card for airport lounges: several debit cards in Pakistan work as a lounge access card. The lowest published fee we found for a card with unlimited visits is Meezan Bank’s Visa Platinum debit card at Rs 10,000 a year. It gets you into CIP lounges at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan and Sialkot, usually with a guest. For lounges abroad, most Platinum credit cards allow 6 free visits a year. Figures are from the banks’ own pages, as of October 2026.
CIP lounges are the lounges at Pakistani airports that banks give their cardholders. Most of the ones on Meezan’s list are past immigration, in international departures.

Which card gets me into the lounge at Lahore, Karachi or Islamabad?
Most cards above cover the CIP lounges at Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi. For the smaller airports:
Multan: Meezan Visa Platinum, Allied Visa Premium, UBL Infinite and Signature, Allied Bank Platinum, Bank Alfalah Platinum.
Sialkot: Meezan Visa Platinum (cardholder only), HBL debit and credit cards, UBL, Bank Alfalah Platinum.

The exceptions we found: UBL’s Infinite and Signature debit cards list domestic CIP lounges in Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Quetta and Islamabad, and Askari World covers selected airports on domestic travel. Meezan’s Multan lounge is in the domestic departures area.
How do I use lounges abroad?
Abroad, most cards work through an app:
Visa Airport Companion: HBL Platinum, MCB Platinum and Signature, Allied Visa Premium and Bank Alfalah Platinum. You register in the app with your card details before you travel.
Mastercard Travel Pass or Airport Pass: Meezan World, HBL World and Standard Chartered Platinum.
Watch the spending conditions:
MCB and Bank Alfalah Platinum: you need USD 5 of international spending in the 90 days before the visit.
Allied Visa Premium: the first visit each year is free; the other 7 unlock after one international or online foreign payment of USD 1. It can take up to 10 days to register, so pay at least 10 days before you fly. Visits reset on 1 January.
Allied Bank also asks you to switch on online transactions for the card in myABL. All card spending abroad, debit and credit together, is capped at USD 30,000 a year per person by the State Bank. Before you fly, see travel insurance in Pakistan and visa-free countries for Pakistanis.
