Short plans can cost nothing extra: BOP’s 3- and 6-month plans are 0% markup. Long plans cost much more. A Honda CD 70 costs Rs 159,900 in cash, but 48 monthly payments of Rs 6,529 add up to Rs 313,392, about double, as of July 2026.

How much more does a bike on installment cost than cash?

The longer you pay, the more you pay. The table shows the Honda CD 70 on BOP’s credit card plan with Atlas Honda, from Gari.pk’s report of 28 July 2026. The cash price is Atlas Honda’s list price of Rs 159,900, as of 15 Oct 2026.

Plan Monthly payment Total paid Extra over cash
Cash none Rs 159,900 none
6 months (0% markup) Rs 26,650 Rs 159,900 none
12 months Rs 16,523 Rs 198,276 Rs 38,376 (about 24%)
24 months Rs 9,860 Rs 236,640 about 48%
36 months Rs 7,640 Rs 275,040 about 72%
48 months Rs 6,529 Rs 313,392 Rs 153,492 (about 96%)

These totals are before taxes and bank charges, which the quoted payments leave out. So the real cost of the 12 to 48-month plans is higher than shown.

What is the Honda bike on installment plan with Bank of Punjab?

Atlas Honda and the Bank of Punjab (BOP) sell selected Honda bikes on installments to eligible BOP credit card holders, over 3 to 48 months, as of 28 July 2026. Only the 3- and 6-month plans have 0% markup and no processing charge. The 12 to 48-month plans carry financing costs.

How does Meezan Bank’s Apni Bike work?

Apni Bike is Meezan Bank’s Islamic bike financing. It uses Musawamah: the bank buys the bike and sells it to you for an agreed price paid in monthly installments. The bike becomes yours once you sign the delivery order. For how this differs from a conventional loan, see Islamic vs conventional banking.

Meezan’s terms, as of 15 Oct 2026:

  • Brands: Honda, Suzuki, Vlektra, Hi-Speed, Crown, Benling, Super Power, Eco-Dost, Super Star and Revoo, petrol and electric.
  • Tenure: up to 2 years for Chinese and Pakistani bikes, up to 3 years for Japanese bikes.
  • Down payment: 15% to 50% of the bike’s price. Meezan’s “0%” product needs at least 20% down, and takaful (Islamic insurance) and registration are mandatory.
  • Takaful: 5% a year where it applies. Registration is charged at actual cost.
  • Processing fee: Rs 2,200 plus FED (federal excise duty), not refundable. Documentation is charged at actual cost.
  • Early payoff: no extra profit is charged if you finish early.
  • 250cc bikes: at least 30% down and a higher income (see below).

Installments are taken by direct debit from a Meezan Bank account, so you need one. Approval takes 5 to 7 working days. After that, the bike arrives on the maker’s delivery timeline.

Meezan’s calculator lists the Honda CD-70 at Rs 159,900, the CG-125 at Rs 238,500, the Suzuki GD 110S at Rs 369,900 and the Suzuki GS 150 at Rs 399,900, as of 15 Oct 2026. We couldn’t confirm Meezan’s profit rate from its page, so we can’t show a total cost for Apni Bike. Ask the bank for the full repayment schedule before you sign.

Who can get a bike on installment from Meezan Bank?

Can I get a bike on installment with 0 markup?

Yes, but usually only for a few months. BOP’s Atlas Honda plan is 0% for 3 and 6 months only, as of July 2026. A past Faysal Bank and Atlas Honda campaign on Faysal Digimall worked the same way: 0% profit on 3 and 6 months, then Rs 16,316 a month over 12 months or Rs 6,448 over 48 months on a CD 70 priced at Rs 157,900. That campaign ran from 1 to 30 June; TechJuice’s page doesn’t give the year, and the price has since risen to Rs 159,900.

HBL’s credit card Shop Now Pay Later plan offers 0% markup on installments of up to 36 months, but HBL says the markup-free period varies by product. Its page doesn’t list motorcycles, so ask HBL which bikes and tenures qualify. For card fees and limits, see credit cards in Pakistan compared.

Meezan’s “0%” product is a different thing: it needs at least 20% down, and takaful and registration are mandatory.

How does the Punjab e-bike scheme on installments work?

The Punjab government is giving 100,000 electric bikes to students on installments, allotted by balloting. The announced terms changed between June and October 2026:

Date and source Down payment Monthly payment Other terms

What can’t we confirm yet?

  • Bank Alfalah bike plans: Bank Alfalah’s website blocked us, so we couldn’t check its bike loan or credit card offers.
  • Bikes on installment for government employees: we found only one report that Punjab would extend e-bike installments to government employees, which isn’t enough to confirm it.
  • Easypaisa and JazzCash: we found no bike installment product from either wallet.
  • Yamaha prices: Yamaha’s Pakistan website didn’t respond, so we haven’t listed its bikes.
