Yes. Amazon’s Seller Central page “Countries accepted for seller registration” lists Pakistan (checked 8 October 2026). To qualify, Amazon says you must:
Pakistan was added in 2021. Dawn reported in May 2021 that Amazon had agreed to add Pakistan so that Pakistani sellers could register with local details, including Pakistani bank accounts. Before that, Profit reported, many sellers used companies abroad set up in the names of friends in the US or UK.
By 2022, Pakistan was the third-largest source of new sellers joining Amazon.com, after the US and China, according to Marketplace Pulse.
Amazon’s US registration guide asks for:
You don’t need a company. Amazon lets you pick “None, I am an individual” as the business type.
Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East use separate Amazon accounts, so selling on Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.ae means registering there too.
Amazon.com fees as of October 2026:
| Fee | Amount |
|---|---|
| Individual plan | $0.99 per item sold |
| Professional plan | $39.99 a month |
| Referral fee, most categories | 15%, minimum $0.30 |
| Referral fee, lowest (e.g. computers, consumer electronics) | 8% |
| Referral fee, Amazon device accessories | 45% |
| Books, DVDs, music, software, video | 15% + $1.80 closing fee per item |
The referral fee is charged on the total price, including shipping and gift wrapping.
Example: a $20 kitchen item on the Individual plan costs you $3.00 referral fee (15%) plus $0.99, so $3.99 before shipping, FBA and payout costs.
With Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), you ship your stock to Amazon’s warehouses. Amazon stores it, then picks, packs and ships each order, and handles customer service and returns.
FBA adds two main costs on top of the fees above:
There are also charges for stock held over 181 days, removals and disposal. Use Amazon’s FBA revenue calculator for your product before you ship anything.
In November 2021, Pakistani sellers told Profit that private-label selling needed about $15,000 to $20,000 and at least 1,000 units per product sent to Amazon’s warehouses. That is a seller estimate from 2021, not an Amazon figure.
As of October 2026, Pakistan and the rupee are not on Amazon’s list of countries supported for disbursement. So you can’t give Amazon a Pakistani bank account directly. Your options:
Payoneer’s public fee page (last updated 1 January 2026) says fees for receiving from marketplaces vary by marketplace. Withdrawals to a bank with currency conversion cost 1.2% to 4%. There’s a $29.95 annual fee if the account receives under $6,000 in 12 months. Payoneer says fees differ by country, so check the fees shown in your own account.

Selling goods to buyers abroad is an export. For tax year 2027, FBR’s withholding rate card sets tax on export proceeds of goods at 1.25% under section 154.
We couldn’t confirm how Pakistani banks classify Amazon payouts that arrive through Payoneer or another provider, and so whether this 1.25% is deducted at receipt. Ask your bank how it will code the inward remittance, and keep your Amazon settlement reports for your tax return.
You will need to be on FBR’s books: see how to get an NTN and how to file your income tax return. If you ship goods in bulk to Amazon’s warehouses, the normal export rules apply: see how to export from Pakistan and e-commerce exports from Pakistan.
Books go through Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), not Seller Central. Payment is simpler than for goods:
For ebooks you choose a 35% or 70% royalty. The 70% option deducts a delivery cost (about $0.06 per copy on average) and applies only to buyers in Amazon’s 70% territories. You don’t have to live in one of those territories to choose it. Books that are mainly public-domain content get 35% only.
Amazon converts royalties to rupees at its own exchange rate, with conversion fees included.

Yes. As of 8 October 2026, Pakistan is on Amazon's list of countries accepted for seller registration. You need to live in Pakistan, have a valid phone number and an internationally chargeable credit card.
On Amazon.com, $0.99 per item sold on the Individual plan or $39.99 a month on the Professional plan, plus a referral fee on each sale, most commonly 15% with a $0.30 minimum.
Amazon's disbursement list doesn't include Pakistan, so you can't link a Pakistani bank account directly. Amazon tells sellers in that position to use a payment service provider in its PSP Program, such as Payoneer, and you withdraw from there to your bank.
KDP pays authors with a Pakistani bank account by direct deposit in rupees for most Amazon stores. Sales on Amazon.com.br are paid by wire transfer in USD.
