Daraz says there is no listing fee, and nothing on its public sell page mentions a monthly fee. Daraz takes a percentage commission from the payment for each order, and the rate depends on the category. It publishes the full list only inside Seller Center.
We couldn’t open that list ourselves. A 318-page Daraz commission list marked “effective from 1 June 2026” is posted by RetailEasePos, a third party. It shows these rates:
| Category | Old rate | Rate from 1 Jun 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Watches, sunglasses, jewellery | 18% | 20% |
| Fashion (men, women) | 17% | 18.5% |

| Kitchen & dining | 13.3% | 14.8% |
| Health & beauty | 12.9% | 14.44% |
| Mobile accessories | 12.9% | 12.9% |
| Toys & games | 8.6% | 9.55% |
| Groceries | 3.4% | 4.44% |
| Mobiles (phones) | 2.5% | 3% |
| Laptops | 2% | 2% |
Many categories rose by 1 to 2 percentage points in that list. Treat it as a guide and confirm your exact sub-category in Seller Center.
Two FBR rules apply to every Daraz order since the Finance Act 2025.
Income tax, section 153(2A). It is withheld before the money reaches you, at these rates (FBR rate card updated to 30 June 2026):
| How the buyer paid | On the ATL | Not on the ATL |
|---|---|---|
| Online (card, wallet, bank) | 1% of gross amount | 2% |
| Cash on delivery | 2% | 4% |
FBR treats this as a final tax on that e-commerce income.
Sales tax. FBR’s sales tax circular of 2 August 2025 says that when you sell on a marketplace and the buyer pays online, the marketplace’s bank withholds the tax. For cash on delivery, the courier withholds, and that can be Daraz itself if it delivers for you. For cottage industry and retailers other than tier-1, that withheld tax is the final sales tax. Everyone else adjusts it in their normal sales tax return (see what an STRN is).
Daraz also has to file monthly statements to FBR with what it paid each seller and the tax due.
Daraz’s sell page says order payments go straight into your account, but it doesn’t give a schedule. In April 2021 Daraz announced it had cut its payment cycle from 14 days to 7 days across its South Asian markets. We couldn’t confirm the current cycle for Pakistan; your Seller Center finance section shows it.
There is no listing fee, so opening the shop costs nothing. You still need stock or a supplier, and the commission and tax come out of each sale. Daraz also runs a separate affiliate program, linked from its sell page, for people who want to promote products without selling them.
