A Faysal Bank credit card is the Faysal Islami Noor Card, a Mastercard in five types: Velocity, Gold, Titanium, Platinum and World. As of Faysal’s July to December 2026 Key Facts Statement (KFS), the annual fee runs from Rs 6,500 to Rs 26,000. Faysal reverses most of it if you spend enough within 60 days, but a small fee still applies. Any balance you don’t pay in full costs 43% to 45% a year in profit.

Cost of carrying a balance on a Noor card

43% to 45% a year

43% for salaried customers at approved employers, 44% for other salaried customers, 45% for the self-employed. From Faysal's Key Facts Statement for July to December 2026.

Faysal Bank is a full Islamic bank: SBP lists it among the full-fledged Islamic banks, with 900 branches as of June 2026. So the Noor card works like a credit card, but its paperwork uses Islamic terms. The cost is called “profit” and the late payment charge is a “Musawamah” charge.

What are the Faysal Bank credit card charges in 2026?

All figures below are from the Noor Card KFS for July to December 2026.

Velocity Gold Titanium Platinum World
Annual fee (basic card) Rs 6,500 Rs 11,000 Rs 13,000 Rs 19,000 Rs 26,000
Spend within 60 days to reverse it Rs 20,000 Rs 30,000 Rs 40,000 Rs 200,000 Rs 400,000
Fee you still pay after reversal Rs 600 Rs 900 Rs 1,100 Rs 2,100 Rs 2,500
Supplementary card fee Rs 1,600 Rs 2,000 Rs 4,000 Rs 6,000 Rs 12,500
Cash withdrawal limit Rs 25,000 Rs 25,000 Rs 25,000 Rs 35,000 Rs 50,000

The cash limit is the figure shown or 10% of your card limit, whichever is lower. Government taxes, FED and provincial sales tax come on top of every charge, and Faysal says they are not reversible.

How does the Noor card annual fee reversal work?

The annual fee is charged only once you activate the card. It appears on your first statement, and you have to pay it to avoid a late charge. If you then spend the amount in the table within 60 days, call Faysal’s contact centre on 111-06-06-06. The fee is reversed on a later statement, minus the reduced fee.

Our example: on a Titanium card, spend Rs 40,000 within 60 days and the Rs 13,000 fee comes back, but Rs 1,100 stays. Utility bill payments made with the card don’t count towards the spend.

Supplementary cards have their own reversal spend: Rs 10,000 (Velocity), Rs 15,000 (Gold), Rs 20,000 (Titanium), Rs 25,000 (Platinum) and Rs 50,000 (World), within 60 days.

Which Faysal Noor card should I pick?

Faysal decides your card type and limit from your income documents and debt burden ratio. Its KFS says the sales representative can’t promise a limit. On the published terms, three things matter:

  • Whether you’ll hit the reversal spend. Velocity, Gold and Titanium need Rs 20,000 to Rs 40,000 in two months. Platinum needs Rs 200,000 and World Rs 400,000. If you won’t reach that, the full fee is a real yearly cost.
  • Cash. Platinum and World allow more cash withdrawal (Rs 35,000 and Rs 50,000).
  • Whether you carry a balance. The profit rate depends on your job type, not the card, so a cheaper card costs the same 43% to 45% on an unpaid balance.

Faysal’s terms also mention a Noor Flexi Card, which has no installment plan and no Smile Points rewards. The KFS doesn’t give its fees, so ask the bank. To compare Faysal with other banks, see credit cards compared.

What is the Faysal Noor card profit rate?

Who you are Profit a month Profit a year (APR)
Salaried, approved employer 3.58% 43%
Salaried, other employer 3.67% 44%
Self-employed 3.75% 45%

The same rate applies to purchases and cash withdrawals. Faysal works out profit daily: outstanding balance × APR ÷ 365.

If you pay the full bill by the due date, you pay no profit, and you get up to 50 days without profit on purchases and cash withdrawals. Pay only the minimum or part of the bill, and profit runs from each transaction’s date.

Our calculation: carrying Rs 50,000 for 30 days at 43% costs about Rs 1,767 in profit.

What is the Faysal Noor card minimum payment?

The minimum payment adds up four parts:

  1. This month’s accrued profit, if any.
  2. Rs 1,000 or 5% of the fees on your bill, whichever is higher.
  3. Rs 500 or 5% of the rest of your balance, whichever is higher.
  4. Any installment that’s due.

Your payment due date is 19 days after the statement date. You can choose a billing date of the 2nd, 8th, 10th, 15th, 20th or 25th of the month through the contact centre. Payments clear fees and taxes first, then the late charge, then profit, installments and finally what you spent.

What are the Faysal Noor card’s other charges?

Charge Fee (July to December 2026)
International card use (including DCC transactions) 4.5% of the amount
Installment plan processing Rs 1,500 per request
Profit on an installment plan 2% a month of the booked amount
Card replacement Rs 1,500
Chip maintenance fee Rs 1,500 a year (primary), Rs 1,000 (supplementary)
Card upgrade Rs 4,500 (Gold) to Rs 10,000 (World)
Off-net ATM cash withdrawal Rs 35 per transaction
SMS alerts for digital transactions Free
Premium SMS for other alerts Rs 340 a month or Rs 2,800 a year, plus tax
Cheque return Rs 1,250

Installment plans are booked by calling 111-06-06-06, with a minimum of Rs 5,000. For how installment plans compare across banks, see credit card installment plans.

Can I use a Faysal Noor card abroad and online?

Yes. The KFS asks you to choose whether to turn on cross-border use, and you can ask the contact centre to block it later. Each international transaction costs 4.5%, and any exchange-rate difference is charged to you. SBP’s limit of US$30,000 a year applies across all your cards.

Banks also collect advance income tax on card payments abroad: 0.5% if you’re on FBR’s Active Taxpayer List and 1% if you’re not. See filer vs non-filer.

Because it’s an Islamic card, Faysal blocks some merchant types. These include gambling, lotteries, bars and nightclubs, liquor stores, dating services, cinemas, music stores, massage parlours and quasi-cash merchants. How do Noor card rewards work?

Noor cards, except the Flexi card, earn Smile Points. You redeem them at Faysal’s partner outlets. Faysal’s terms also describe “Eternal Rewards”: the bank may give your points to charity every quarter, as Sadqa, on your behalf. That donation doesn’t count as Zakat. Faysal’s KFS doesn’t publish how many points you earn per rupee.

The card also comes with takaful cover from EFU Life, with Faysal acting as agent. It includes life cover, disability and critical illness. To enrol you must be 18 to 69, and supplementary cardholders aren’t covered.

How do I apply for a Faysal Bank credit card?

  1. Check your record. Faysal assesses your eligibility and debt burden ratio, and a default anywhere shows up on eCIB.
  2. Apply with full documents. Faysal won’t process an application until it has every required document, and it doesn’t return documents.
  3. Read and sign the KFS. It lists the fee, reversal spend, profit rate and charges. Keep your copy.
  4. Activate and pay the first statement. The annual fee is on it. Then reach the reversal spend within 60 days and call 111-06-06-06.

Delivery takes about 15 days from a complete application, and the card is valid for 3 years. For what banks check in general, see how to apply for a credit card.
