What is the BYD price in Pakistan?
BYD cars are sold by Mega Motor Company. PakWheels’ BYD page listed these ex-factory prices on 24 October 2026:
BYD model
Price
Atto 2
Rs 72.9 lakh
Atto 3
Rs 89.9 lakh
Seal
Rs 1.479 to 1.699 crore
Sealion 7

The same page lists the Sealion 6 as “call for price”, launching in December 2026. Aaj News reported the Atto 2’s launch price of Rs 7,290,000 in January 2026, so it hasn’t changed since.

Which electric car is under 50 lakh?
In PakWheels’ April 2026 list, four models had a version under Rs 50 lakh:
Alektra Metro (Rs 10.95 to 13.95 lakh): a micro car with 80 to 180 km of range.
Honri Ve (Rs 35.99 to 43.99 lakh): 170 to 255 km.
Inverex Xio (from Rs 34.99 lakh): 119 to 272 km, depending on version.
JMEV EV3 (Rs 48.99 to 49.99 lakh): 222 to 271 km.
These are city cars. None of them claims the 300 km plus of the Rs 70 lakh-and-up models, so check the range against your longest regular trip.
Which electric car suits whom?
We don’t rank one brand over another. Match the car to how you drive:
City only, lowest price: the micro cars and small hatchbacks under Rs 60 lakh, if you can charge at home every night.
Family car for city and some motorway: models claiming 400 km or more, such as the BYD Atto 3 (Rs 89.9 lakh, about 420 km) or the Deepal S07 (Rs 1.5 crore, 485 km).
Long trips with no charger on the way: a range-extender such as the Deepal S05 REEV (Rs 99.99 lakh). Deepal claims 170 km on battery alone and 1,000 km or more in all with its range extender.
PakWheels advises checking where the brand’s service centres are before you buy. A car with no workshop in your city costs you time on every repair.
How much does it cost to charge an electric car?
At public chargers, NEPRA set the base rate at Rs 23.57 a unit (kWh) in May 2025, down from Rs 45.55. Each station adds its own margin, which the market now sets (Profit). In January 2025 the Power Division put the all-in rate at Rs 39.70 a unit, down from Rs 71 (APP).
Full charge, Deepal S07 (66.8 kWh)
About Rs 1,574 at the base rate
Our calculation: 66.8 kWh x Rs 23.57, before the station's margin and taxes. Deepal claims 485 km per charge.
At home you pay your normal tariff, which rises with each slab; see electricity unit price. PakWheels advises checking that your wiring can take a 7 kW or 11 kW wall charger, and says most public chargers use the CCS2 plug.
Deepal says the S07 charges from 30% to 80% in 35 minutes on a DC fast charger. We couldn’t find an official count of public chargers in Pakistan.
