# Kitchen cabinet price in Pakistan (2026): laminate, UV, acrylic and solid wood per running foot

The kitchen cabinet price in Pakistan is about **Rs 8,300 to 12,100 a running foot** for a standard fitted kitchen in Lahore: laminated board cabinets, UV gloss shutters and soft-close hinges, installed. That is Avenir Developments' rate, reviewed 26 September 2026, and comes to **Rs 99,600 to 1.45 lakh for a 12 ft kitchen**, before the countertop, sink and appliances.

Makers price by the running foot or by the square foot, and they don't always say what is included. This guide sets the published prices side by side, by material.

## Kitchen cabinet price per running foot (2026)

A running foot is one foot along the wall, counting the base and wall cabinets together in Avenir's rates.

**The two sources count different things.** Avenir's rates include material, labour, standard hardware, finish and fixing. Civil Construction Guide lists hardware separately and adds installation at Rs 500 to 1,000 a running foot. Avenir's rates leave out the countertop, sink, appliances, chimney and glass.

For a 12 ft kitchen, Avenir's totals are Rs 73,200 to 99,600 (economy, which Avenir calls essential), Rs 99,600 to 1.45 lakh (standard), Rs 1.66 to 2.51 lakh (premium) and Rs 2.64 to 4.62 lakh (luxury). In Islamabad and Rawalpindi its standard rate is Rs 8,700 to 12,700 a running foot.

## Kitchen cabinet price per square foot

Some makers quote per square foot instead. These are the dated prices we found:

Kitchenline and Lunar Furniture don't say how they measure the square feet, so ask before you compare. Avenir measures the cabinet front. Lunar's shop showed most kitchens below a crossed-out price, for example Rs 4,000 against Rs 5,000. Kitchenline says its rate includes cabinets, basic hardware and installation, with the countertop and sink priced separately.

## Which material is best for kitchen cabinets?

No board is best everywhere. This is how Kitchenline, a Lahore maker, describes the three it uses:

Kitchenline says MDF works best with a sink unit made of plywood or PVC, and that boards with poor edge sealing can swell and peel in heat and humidity. The finish on the shutters changes the price: moving from laminate to UV, acrylic or PU pushes the rate up, as the table above shows.

**Aluminium:** Zameen's blog says aluminium doesn't soak up moisture and is hard for pests to nest in, but can be noisier than wooden cabinets. We found no dated aluminium kitchen price from a maker, so get quotes.

**Hardware** (Avenir, retail, September 2026): a Chinese soft-close hinge costs Rs 380 to 650 and a Blum soft-close hinge Rs 1,650 to 2,050. A soft-close drawer channel is Rs 1,000 to 3,100 a pair.

**Labour only:** Property Dealer lists carpenter labour for kitchen cabinets at Rs 400 to 600 a running foot (16 October 2026). Avenir gives Rs 400 to 650 per sq ft of cabinet front in Lahore. The units differ, so ask which one a quote uses.

**Before you sign a kitchen quote:** Ask whether the rate is per running foot or per square foot, and whether it counts the base and wall cabinets together. Get the board, its thickness, the shutter finish, the hinge and channel brand, and whether the countertop, sink and fitting are included, in writing. Avenir says its rates are planning figures, not quotations, and Kitchenline calls its rate "a starting rate, not a quote".
