## Summary

Easypaisa and JazzCash charge almost the same for everyday use: free wallet-to-wallet transfers, identical cash-out slabs (Rs 180 to withdraw Rs 10,000) and Rs 35 per ATM withdrawal. Easypaisa is cheaper if you pay many bills, which are free, while JazzCash charges Rs 5 to Rs 30 per bill and Rs 1 per app transaction. Figures come from easypaisa's October to December 2026 schedule and JazzCash's July to September 2026 schedule. JazzCash publishes its account limits; easypaisa doesn't.

## Key facts

- Wallet to wallet: Free on both
- Cash out Rs 10,000: Rs 180 on both
- ATM withdrawal: Rs 35 on both
- Bill payments: Free vs Rs 5–30

Easypaisa vs JazzCash comes down to small differences, because their main fees are the same: **free wallet-to-wallet transfers, Rs 180 to cash out Rs 10,000 at an agent and Rs 35 per ATM withdrawal**. Easypaisa is cheaper if you pay several bills a month, since it charges nothing for them. JazzCash charges Rs 5 to Rs 30 per bill and Rs 1 per app transaction. Figures are from easypaisa's October to December 2026 schedule and JazzCash's July to September 2026 schedule.

**Cash out Rs 10,000 at an agent:** Rs 180 on both (Including tax. easypaisa Oct–Dec 2026 and JazzCash Jul–Sep 2026 schedules of charges)

## Easypaisa vs JazzCash: how do the fees compare?

Both wallets publish a schedule of charges. JazzCash's is issued by Mobilink Microfinance Bank. We couldn't find its October to December 2026 schedule on the bank's website on 10 Oct 2026, and jazzcash.com.pk blocked our fetches, so JazzCash figures below are from **July to September 2026**.

| Service | easypaisa (Oct–Dec 2026) | JazzCash (Jul–Sep 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Open an account | Free | Free |
| Send to another wallet of the same brand | Free | Free |
| Send to a bank or other wallet (IBFT) | Free up to Rs 25,000 a month, then 0.1% or Rs 200 (lower) | Free up to Rs 25,000 a month, then 0.1% or Rs 200 (lower), plus a Rs 1.55 processing fee |

| Cash out at an agent, Rs 8,001–10,000 | Rs 180 | Rs 180 |
| Cash out at an agent, Rs 40,001–50,000 | Rs 690 | Rs 690 |
| ATM withdrawal | Rs 35 (free at easypaisa Bank branch ATMs) | Rs 35 |
| Cash deposit at an agent | 0.5% + tax | 0.5% + FED |
| Utility bills from the wallet | Free | Rs 5 to Rs 30 per bill (see below) |
| Mobile load | First 5 a month free, then Rs 2 to Rs 10 each | Free |
| Fee per transaction | Rs 1 on USSD (none listed for the app) | Rs 1 on USSD and Rs 1 in the app |
| Inactivity fee | None listed | Rs 100 a month after 12 months with no activity |

Easypaisa adds government taxes on top of any fee not marked "incl. tax". JazzCash lists fees excluding tax unless marked. The cash-out and ATM fees above include tax on both. Both say they may charge less than the listed fee.

The IBFT rule is identical in both schedules, so sending from easypaisa to JazzCash, or the other way, costs the same as sending to a bank. Both apps also send money through **Raast**, the instant payment system. Both call Raast transfers free.

## Which is cheaper for bill payments?

Easypaisa: utility bills, other bills, online payments and QR payments in shops are all free in its October to December 2026 schedule. M-Tag top-ups cost Rs 10 each.

JazzCash charges for utility bills paid from the wallet, counted per calendar month:

| Bill in the month | JazzCash fee per bill |
|---|---|
| 1st to 3rd | Rs 5 |
| 4th to 9th | Rs 20 |
| 10th onwards | Rs 30 |

Postpaid bills, internet bills and prepaid load from the JazzCash wallet are free, and so are bills paid over the counter at an agent. Paying by Raast QR is free for consumers.

**Five utility bills a month:** Rs 0 vs Rs 55 (easypaisa free; JazzCash Rs 5 × 3 + Rs 20 × 2, before the Rs 1 app fee per transaction)

## What does each charge to withdraw cash?

The two cash-out tables are the same, slab for slab:

| Amount withdrawn | Fee (incl. tax) |
|---|---|
| Rs 1–200 | Rs 7 |
| Rs 501–1,000 | Rs 20 |
| Rs 2,501–4,000 | Rs 70 |
| Rs 4,001–6,000 | Rs 100 |
| Rs 8,001–10,000 | Rs 180 |
| Rs 16,001–20,000 | Rs 330 |
| Rs 20,001–25,000 | Rs 380 |
| Rs 40,001–50,000 | Rs 690 |

At an ATM, a withdrawal of any size costs Rs 35 on both, including 1-Link charges. For larger amounts the ATM is far cheaper: Rs 35 against Rs 380 for Rs 25,000.

Easypaisa withdrawals are free at easypaisa Bank branch ATMs, and cash deposits and withdrawals at easypaisa branches are free for its Digital Accounts. On JazzCash, freelancers paid through Payoneer get 2 free ATM withdrawals in the month the payment arrives.

**Non-filers pay 0.8% above Rs 50,000 a day:** Easypaisa's schedule notes that 0.8% withholding tax applies when a non-filer withdraws more than Rs 50,000 in a day, on the full day's withdrawals. This is a tax, not a wallet fee. See [filer vs non-filer](/business/guides/filer-vs-non-filer/).

## What are the account levels and limits?

JazzCash published this limits table on its website, read from the Internet Archive copy of 1 Sep 2026 (figures in Rs):

| JazzCash account | Daily (in / out) | Monthly (in / out) | Maximum balance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Level 1 (basic) | 1 lakh / 1 lakh | 3 lakh / 3 lakh | 30 lakh |
| Asaan Digital Account | 30 lakh / 10 lakh | 30 lakh / 10 lakh | 30 lakh |
| Digital Account | 10 lakh / 10 lakh | 35 lakh / 35 lakh | 50 lakh |

Upgrading to an Asaan Digital Account or Digital Account cost nothing in JazzCash's July to September 2026 schedule, down from Rs 99 in January to March. In-app biometric verification costs Rs 100.

We couldn't find easypaisa's limits on its website. Its FAQ says daily, monthly and yearly limits depend on your account level, and you raise them by scanning your hands in the app (Account Level, then Upgrade your Account). Its fees for moving up are Rs 99 for biometric verification from Level 0 to Level 1 and Rs 75 to request an Asaan Digital Account from Level 1. Check your current limits in the app before a large transfer.
