Taleemi Wazaif is only for children of **active Benazir Kafaalat beneficiaries**. As of 18 October 2026, BISP's programme page still shows the older table above, and BISP hasn't said whether the Rs 500 is added per child, per quarter, at every level. Many websites print new tables; we couldn't match any of them to a BISP document, so we give only the rise. ## How do I register my child for Taleemi Wazaif? There is no online form on BISP's site for Taleemi Wazaif. The mother enrols each child in person: 1. **Get the admission slip.** Ask the school or college for a slip showing the child's class and the institution's name, verified by the teacher. BISP doesn't use the term "verification slip"; this teacher-verified slip is the only school slip its page mentions. 2. **Collect your documents.** Your CNIC and the child's NADRA B-form or CRC (child registration certificate). NADRA checks the B-form, so it must be valid. 3. **Go to BISP.** Take the child to a BISP enrolment camp or field office with the documents. 4. **First payment.** The child is verified once, at enrolment, and the first quarter's payment is released after that. ## What is the 70% attendance rule? From the second quarter, your child is paid only if they attended **at least 70% of the school or college days** in that quarter. If a child misses the 70% rule for **three quarters in a row**, BISP suspends the child from the programme. Missing it in a single quarter stops that quarter's payment. ## How can I check Benazir Taleemi Wazaif by CNIC? BISP's official check is for your household, not for each child. **Send your CNIC number by SMS to 8171**, or enter it on **8171.bisp.gov.pk**. That tells you whether your family is a Kafaalat beneficiary, which Taleemi Wazaif depends on. We found no BISP page for checking a child's Taleemi Wazaif status by CNIC, and no Taleemi Wazaif login. For a child's enrolment or attendance, ask your BISP tehsil office or call the BISP helpline, **0800-26477**. ## How is the payment received? BISP said in March 2026 that **future payments go through digital wallets** linked to a free SIM from a BISP office. By 6 Jul 2026, 9.7 million wallets had been opened and that quarter's payments were going through them, BISP said. If anyone asks for a fee to enrol your child, report it to the BISP helpline, 0800-26477. ## Is Taleemi Wazaif the same as other Punjab cards? No. Taleemi Wazaif is a federal BISP programme.
