## Summary

From 1 October 2026, Allied Bank's rupee savings accounts, including PLS Savings, Asaan Saving, Senior Citizen, Khanum and Freelancer savings, pay 10% a year up to a Rs 10 million monthly average and 9.5% above. The Allied Islamic Saving Account paid 6.63% for August 2026. The Easy Current Account has no minimum balance or maintenance fee; the regular Current Account charges Rs 50 a month below a Rs 25,000 average. Other banks' ATMs cost Rs 35.

## Key facts

- Savings rate (from 1 Oct 2026): 10% up to Rs 1 crore
- Islamic saving (Aug 2026): 6.63%
- Other bank's ATM (Jul–Dec 2026): Rs 35
- Free transfers to other banks: Up to Rs 25,000 a month

The right Allied Bank account depends on whether you want profit. Its rupee savings accounts all pay **10% a year** up to Rs 1 crore (from 1 October 2026), and differ mainly in how often profit is paid. For an everyday account with no maintenance fee, the **Allied Easy Current Account** has no minimum balance and no maintenance charge. If you have only a CNIC and no income papers, the **Allied Asaan Account** is the one to open.

**Allied Bank savings rate, up to Rs 1 crore:** 10.00% a year (PLS Savings, Asaan Saving, Senior Citizen, Khanum and Freelancer savings, from 1 October 2026, on a monthly average balance up to Rs 10 million. Above that it is 9.50%.)

**Where these details come from:** Allied Bank's website blocked our automated checks on 19 October 2026. Rates and charges below are from Allied Bank's own October 2026 rate sheet and July to December 2026 schedule of charges, which we read earlier in October. Account features are from Allied Bank's account pages as saved by the Wayback Machine between April and August 2026. Confirm any fee at the branch before you rely on it.

The rate drops to **9.50%** above a Rs 10 million monthly average because the State Bank's minimum savings rate, currently 10.00%, covers only individuals up to that balance (from 1 August 2026). Islamic accounts are different, see below.

## What is the Allied Bank saving account profit rate in 2026?

From 1 October 2026, every main rupee savings account on Allied Bank's rate sheet pays the same rate, so pick by how often you want the profit.

| Monthly average balance | Rate |
|---|---|
| Up to Rs 10 million | 10.00% |
| Above Rs 10 million | 9.50% |

On Rs 1 lakh at 10%, that is about Rs 10,000 a year before tax. Banks deduct tax on profit; see [tax on bank profit](/money/guides/tax-on-bank-profit/) and [monthly profit on Rs 1 lakh to 1 crore](/money/guides/bank-profit-per-month/).

If you can lock money away, the **Allied Express Plus 1** term deposit pays **9.50%** for one year at maturity, or 9.10% with monthly profit, on the same 1 October 2026 sheet. The **Allied Term Plus** deposit pays less: 8.50% for one year and 7.75% for five years. For other banks' term rates, see [fixed deposit rates in Pakistan](/money/guides/fixed-deposit-rates-pakistan/).

### Allied Bank Islamic savings rate

Allied Bank's Islamic branches declare profit after each month ends, so there is no fixed rate. The **Allied Islamic Saving Account** paid **6.63%** for August 2026, 7.65% for July and 6.69% for June. That is well below the 10% on the conventional accounts, because Islamic savings aren't covered by the State Bank's minimum-rate rule. For the difference, see [Islamic vs conventional banking](/money/guides/islamic-vs-conventional-banking/).

## What are Allied Bank current account charges?

The everyday choice is between two current accounts:

- **Allied Current Account:** opens with Rs 1,000. You pay **Rs 50 a month** if your monthly average falls below **Rs 25,000**. Keep Rs 250,000 or more and online deposits and withdrawals, pay orders, demand drafts and other services become free.
- **Allied Easy Current Account:** opens with Rs 1,000, with **no minimum balance and no maintenance charge**. It includes free online deposits, withdrawals and account-to-account transfers, and Visa, UnionPay or PayPak debit cards.

These charges are from the July to December 2026 schedule:

| Service | Charge |
|---|---|
| Withdrawal at an Allied Bank ATM | Free |
| Withdrawal at another bank's ATM | Rs 35 (includes FED) |
| Transfer to another bank (IBFT) by ATM or myABL | Free up to Rs 25,000 a month; then 0.1% or Rs 200, whichever is lower |
| Raast transfer | Free |
| UPI PayPak Basic debit card, a year | Rs 2,200 |
| UPI & PayPak Classic / Gold debit card | Rs 2,900 / Rs 3,200 |
| Visa Classic / Platinum debit card | Rs 3,000 / Rs 6,000 |
| SMS alerts for branch transactions | Rs 250 a month (current), Rs 425 (savings) |

For how these compare across banks, see [bank charges in Pakistan](/money/guides/bank-charges-pakistan/).

## How do I open an Allied Bank account online?

Allied Bank's **myPakistan Digital Account** lets residents of Pakistan open an account without a branch visit.

1. **Start on Allied Bank's website or the myABL app.** Choose myPakistan Digital Account.

**Youth Asaan limit:** Allied Bank's Youth Account FAQ gives the Youth Asaan Account a Rs 1,000,000 limit. The State Bank's rules let Asaan accounts hold up to Rs 3 million, as Allied Bank's main Asaan Account does. Ask the branch which limit applies before you rely on it.
