## Summary

As of October 2026, TikTok doesn't pay Pakistan-based accounts through its Creator Rewards Program: TikTok's page links programme terms for eight countries (Brazil, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, the UK and the US). TikTok LIVE, and with it gifts and Diamonds, was never launched in Pakistan, ProPakistani and Pakistan Observer reported in July 2026. The route that works is brand deals, which TikTok allows with a Paid partnership label. Since 1 July 2026 banks deduct 5% (filers) or 10% under section 154B on creator platform income.

## Key facts

- Creator Rewards Program: Not in Pakistan (8 countries)
- TikTok LIVE in Pakistan: Never launched (Jul 2026)
- Brand deals: Allowed, disclosure required
- Bank tax (s.154B): 5% filer, 10% non-filer

**TikTok earning in Pakistan doesn't come from TikTok itself, as of October 2026.** The **Creator Rewards Program**, which pays for views, isn't open to Pakistan-based accounts. **TikTok LIVE**, the feature behind gifts and Diamonds, was never launched in Pakistan. What does work is **brand deals**: a business pays you to promote it, and TikTok allows that with a "Paid partnership" label. Since July 2026 banks deduct **5% tax** on creator platform income for filers.

**TikTok programmes for Pakistan accounts:** Brand deals only (Creator Rewards: 8 other countries. LIVE: never launched in Pakistan. Oct 2026.)

## Is TikTok earning possible in Pakistan?

Here is each way TikTok pays creators, and where Pakistan stands, from TikTok's own help pages and July 2026 news:

| Programme | What it pays for | Pakistan |
|---|---|---|
| Creator Rewards Program | Views on original videos over 1 minute | No: terms for 8 countries only |
| LIVE Gifts and Diamonds | Gifts viewers send during a LIVE | No: LIVE never launched here |
| Series (paid videos) | Viewers buying access | Payout needs PayPal, which doesn't serve Pakistan |
| TikTok One / Creator Marketplace | Brand campaigns | Not confirmed for Pakistan |
| Brand deals you arrange | Promoting a business | Yes, with disclosure |
| TikTok Shop | Selling in the app | No: 8 markets, not Pakistan |

## Is the TikTok Creator Rewards Program available in Pakistan?

No. TikTok says you must **be based in a country where the programme is available**. Its rewards page links programme terms for eight countries: Brazil, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, the UK and the US. Pakistan isn't on it.

Where it is open, TikTok asks for a personal account, age 18 or over, **10,000 followers** and **100,000 video views** in the last 30 days. Videos must be at least one minute long and original. Duets, Stitches and lightly edited copies don't count. Even creators who qualify are paid through PayPal in most of those countries.

## Can I earn from TikTok LIVE gifts in Pakistan?

Not officially. ProPakistani and Pakistan Observer both reported on **20 July 2026** that TikTok LIVE has never been launched in Pakistan. Their sources said the restriction comes from TikTok itself, not from PTA.

TikTok's own rules point the same way. To turn on LIVE Gifts, TikTok says you must **live in a location where LIVE Gifts is available**. Gifts become Diamonds, and to collect Diamonds you must live in a country where Diamonds are available.

**Workarounds can cost you the money:** ProPakistani reported that some creators go LIVE using foreign SIMs, VPNs or modified apps. Its sources called earning this way illegal and said SBP could examine such inflows. TikTok's Rewards Policy says it can ask you to verify your location before paying, and can deny or stop your rewards.

Pakistan Observer reported that, as of July 2026, neither SBP nor PTA had announced a ban on TikTok LIVE payments through banks. The problem is TikTok's own eligibility rules, not a bank block. ProPakistani also found no evidence that a phone without PTA registration unlocks LIVE.

## How do Pakistani TikTokers earn from brand deals?

TikTok lets you post content that promotes **your own business** or **another brand in exchange for payment**. You must turn on the **content disclosure setting**. The post is then labelled "Promotional content" (your own business) or "Paid partnership" (someone else's). TikTok says posts without the disclosure may be removed or restricted.

You agree the price and how you'll be paid with the brand directly.

**TikTok One** (which includes Creator Marketplace) is TikTok's own platform for matching creators with brands. You can join only if TikTok One has launched in your country, and TikTok doesn't publish that list. Its help page lists 10,000 followers, which may differ by region. To check, open **TikTok Studio > Monetization > Creator Marketplace > Check eligibility**.

## How is TikTok money withdrawn?

For TikTok's own programmes, the Rewards Policy says you need a payment account **in your legal name** with a provider TikTok supports, "such as a bank account or a PayPal account". Payments are worked out in US dollars, and fees and limits are shown before you're paid. TikTok says bank payouts are only available in some countries.

**PayPal isn't available in Pakistan**: it isn't on PayPal's list of countries (checked 16 October 2026). That rules out Series (paid videos): TikTok asks you to link a PayPal account before it pays you.

For a brand deal, you're paid however you agree with the brand. A foreign brand's payment reaches you like any other money from abroad. ## How much tax is deducted on TikTok income in Pakistan?

Since 1 July 2026, **section 154B** makes your bank deduct tax when social media platform revenue paid to creators lands in your account:

| Who | Rate (Oct 2026) |
|---|---|
| Filer (on the Active Taxpayers List) | **5%** |
| Non-filer | **10%** |

Profit (30 June 2026) reports that it covers TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, including money routed through payment providers. For residents the 5% is a **minimum tax**: you still file a return, and any excess isn't refunded. See [freelancer tax in Pakistan](/business/guides/freelancer-tax-pakistan/) and [how to become a filer](/business/guides/how-to-become-filer/).

TikTok also asks creators who collect rewards for US tax information. A non-US creator fills in **Form W-8BEN**. TikTok says generally only rewards from US viewers are taxed in the US, typically at **30%**, and without the form your rewards may all be treated as taxable.

## Can I sell on TikTok Shop from Pakistan?

No. TikTok lists eight TikTok Shop markets, and Pakistan isn't one. Pakistani sellers show products in TikTok videos and take orders on WhatsApp instead. That route is covered in [selling on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok in Pakistan](/business/guides/sell-on-instagram-facebook-pakistan/).
