## Summary

Yes, you can sell on eBay from Pakistan. As of October 2026, eBay lists Pakistan in the 'Rest of World' group of its global seller countries. Most categories cost a 13.6% final value fee plus $0.30 or $0.40 per order, and sales to buyers outside Pakistan add a 1.55% international fee. You get 250 free listings a month, then $0.35 each. If eBay routes your payouts via Payoneer, as forum members say it does for Pakistan, they arrive in US dollars and you withdraw them to your Pakistani bank.

## Key facts

- Free listings: 250 a month

**Yes, eBay accepts sellers from Pakistan.** eBay Pakistan sellers fall in eBay's **"Rest of World"** group of global seller countries, as of October 2026. In most categories you pay a **13.6% final value fee plus $0.30 or $0.40 per order**, and **1.55%** more on sales to buyers outside Pakistan. Payouts go in **US dollars to Payoneer** when eBay assigns that route, which eBay forum members say it does for Pakistan, and you withdraw to a Pakistani bank.

**eBay fees on a $30 sale to a US buyer, most categories:** about $4.95 (13.6% ($4.08) + $0.40 per order + 1.55% international fee ($0.47). October 2026 rates. Fees are charged on the total including shipping and any sales tax, so the real figure is higher.)

## Can I sell on eBay from Pakistan?

Yes. eBay's international fees page lists the countries it calls "eBay global" seller countries, and **Pakistan is in the Rest of World group**, with Bangladesh, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, Turkey and others. The fees on that page apply if your eBay registered address is in Pakistan.

Use your real Pakistani address. Your registered address decides which fees you pay. Members on eBay's community forum also warn that a Payoneer account with a US address won't work if you live somewhere else.

## What do I need to open an eBay seller account in Pakistan?

- an eBay account with your **Pakistani address**
- a **Payoneer account**, if eBay tells you at registration that your payouts go via Payoneer. You need a new Payoneer account for each eBay account, and the name on it must match your eBay account.
- a **CNIC**, smart NIC, passport or driving licence, and a **selfie**, for Payoneer
- **proof of address** from the last 6 months: a bank statement, a NayaPay or other e-wallet statement, a government letter or an electricity or water bill. A rental agreement valid for 12 months also works.
- a **Pakistani bank account** to withdraw to
- a **credit or debit card**, which eBay keeps as a backup for any fees it can't take from your sales (see [credit cards in Pakistan compared](/money/guides/credit-cards-pakistan-compared/))

To sell as a company rather than as yourself, register the business first: see [business structures in Pakistan](/business/guides/business-structures-pakistan/).

## How do I sign up as an eBay seller from Pakistan?

1. Create an eBay account with your real name and Pakistani address.
2. Start selling. eBay asks you to register for **managed payments** and checks your identity and details.
3. When eBay tells you payouts go **via Payoneer**, link an existing Payoneer account or create a new one from the eBay screen.
4. Finish Payoneer's checks: upload your ID, take the selfie and add proof of address and your bank details.
5. Add a credit or debit card as eBay's backup payment method.
6. List your first items. The first **250 listings each month** are free.

Payoneer says most approvals take **1 to 3 business days** when documents are right, but its eBay page warns some can take several weeks. If eBay can't verify you, it tells you in My eBay messages and puts an alert on your account.

**Open both accounts in your own name:** eBay needs the details on your Payoneer account to match your eBay account, and your fees depend on your registered address. An account in a relative's name or with a foreign address won't match.

## What are eBay's fees for Pakistani sellers?

eBay's fees for a seller with a Pakistani registered address, selling on eBay.com, as of October 2026:

| Fee | Amount | When |
|---|---|---|
| Insertion fee | Free for 250 listings a month, then $0.35 each | Each listing, and each relist |
| Final value fee | 13.6% of the total sale up to $7,500, then 2.35% above | Each sale, most categories |
| Per-order fee | $0.30 (orders of $10 or less) or $0.40 (over $10) | Each order |
| International fee | 1.55% of the total sale | Buyer or delivery address outside Pakistan |
| Currency conversion | 3% | Only when eBay converts between currencies |

Some categories cost more: **15.3%** for books, films and music, and **15%** for women's bags up to $2,000.

The "total sale" includes the item price, shipping you charge, handling and any sales tax. eBay says there's no separate payment processing fee on top. If you sell mainly to buyers abroad, plan for the 1.55% on nearly every sale.

## How do eBay sellers in Pakistan get paid?

1. The buyer pays by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. eBay handles the payment.
2. eBay deducts its fees. The money becomes available **within 2 business days** after eBay confirms the buyer's payment.
3. eBay sends the payout to Payoneer in **US dollars**. Once it starts, the money shows in Payoneer within minutes.
4. You withdraw from Payoneer to your Pakistani bank account.

Payoneer charges its own fees: its pricing page (updated 1 January 2026) lists **1.2% to 4%** for withdrawals with currency conversion, with a minimum of up to $20 in some countries. There's also a **$29.95 annual fee** if you receive under $6,000 in 12 months. For more, see [Payoneer in Pakistan](/money/guides/payoneer-in-pakistan/).

You can't take eBay payouts in PayPal. Buyers can pay with PayPal, but eBay pays sellers only to a bank account, directly or via Payoneer.

## What are the alternatives to eBay for Pakistani sellers?

- **[Etsy](/business/guides/sell-on-etsy-from-pakistan/)** also supports Pakistan directly and pays sellers through Payoneer.
- **[Amazon](/business/guides/how-to-sell-on-amazon-from-pakistan/)** lets you register from Pakistan; our guide covers its plans and payouts.
- **[Daraz](/business/guides/how-to-sell-on-daraz/)** is for buyers inside Pakistan, so there's no export or dollar payout to arrange.
- **Your own shop**: see [Daraz vs Shopify vs your own website](/business/guides/daraz-vs-shopify-vs-own-website/).

On eBay, the 250 free listings a month keep the cost of testing a few items low.

## Do I pay tax on eBay income in Pakistan?

For tax year 2027, FBR's withholding rate card sets tax on export proceeds at **1.25%** under section 154(1). We couldn't confirm whether eBay sales through Payoneer are treated as export proceeds.

We also couldn't confirm whether banks deduct this when eBay money arrives through Payoneer. Ask your bank how it codes the inward remittance, and keep your eBay and Payoneer statements for your return.
